Synopsis[]
In 2029 A.D. in Los Angeles, Detectives Droopy and Dripple help protect Dr. Ultra Vavoom from Dr. Dupo McWolf who has taken her duplicate machine and duplicates himself.
Plot[]
In 2029 A.D Los Angeles, Droopy and Dripple, futuristic Detectives are enjoying a game of badminton.
Dripple complains that it has been a slow week with hardly any cases but Droopy assures him that their next case will come right through their roof. This literally happens when a car owned by Dr. Ultra Vavoom, Genetic Engineer, crashes through. Dr. Vavoom asks for their help as McWolf has stolen her duplication formula and is using it to create an army of Duplicoids. Unfortunately, McWolf doesn't have the secret ingredient that makes Duplicoids intelligent, and is after Dr. Vavoom to retrieve it.
After some persuasion, Droopy agrees to take Dr. Vavoom's case and even tells her that it's free of charge.
McWolf sends his Duplicoids out to get rid of the Droopy and Dripple, but bring back Dr. Vavoom. However, the Duplicoids lack of intelligence works against McWolf at every turn, and McWolf's attempts at getting the secret ingredient and Dr. Vavoom is foiled in every attempt by the dogs.
In the final battle, McWolf sends his clones to destroy Droopy and Dripple only to have Dr. Vavoom arrive with a bus and a proposition. She asks the Duplicoids if they want to continue being brainless and follow McWolf or come with her and get fringe benefits. The Duplicoids join Dr. Vavoom while McWolf wonders about himself which prompts Miss Vavoom to ask McWolf to join her, which he accepts. Droopy and Dripple are left behind while Dr. Vavoom, McWolf and the clones fly off into the sky.
Surprised by this, Dripple asks Droopy "Gee Pop, we didn't get the girl. What happened?" Droopy replies "Poor film editing Son", before they both show a sad look (presumably at the audience) and continue watching the sky.

- Miss Vavoom's appearance in this episode is different as she has blue skin and a different hairstyle.
- This is one of the few episodes where McWolf wins Miss Vavoom instead of Droopy and Dripple.
