The Ant is a character that appeared in the Tom and Jerry Tales episode, "Little Big Mouse" as Jerry's antagonist and Tom's friend.
Characteristics[]
Bio[]
The ant first is encountered by Tom, close to having a heat stroke. Tom, feeling sorry for the ant, gives him an ice cube to cool himself.
Later on, after Tom was kicked out because Jerry stole all the food in the fridge, the ant returns and steals Jerry's picnic. The ant is last seen having a picnic with Tom.

The ant is a red ant, with 3 hairs on it's back and bumps on it's arms.

The friendship between the Ant and Tom are mutual and are similar to Spike and Jerry's friendship.

The rivalry between Jerry and the Ant is similar to Tom and Jerry's. Jerry acts antagonist to the ant who trying to get food from his picnic.
