Armand

Armand (often credited in the show as Concierge) is a major recurring character in Tom and Jerry in New York. He is the concierge of the Royal Gate Hotel in New York City. He is voiced by Stephen Stanton.

Physical Appearance[]

Armand is a short, plump man with fair skin, a gray mustache, gray eyebrows, black eyes, and gray hair with a bald spot. He wears a formal business suit that consists of a navy blue coat, a white collared shirt, a blue-purple tie, navy blue pants, and black shoes.

Personality[]

Armand takes his job very seriously and strives to keep things running smoothly and perfectly for the hotel and its guests. Because of this, he can often be very strict and stern, especially with Tom, whose antics usually cause an unsurprisingly large amount of chaos that can often cause numerous problems for both the hotel and its guests, much to his annoyance.

Armand appears to speak with a Liverpudlian accent, a trait that is quite reminiscent of Ringo Starr, who was best known as the drummer for the British band, The Beatles.
Armand might be somewhat based off of Basil Fawlty from the British television sitcom, Fawlty Towers.
Although he debuted in Chameleon Story, Armand was not referred to by name until Horticulture Clash.
Despite having a name, Armand is still credited as "Concierge" in the credits for all the episodes he appears in.
Spike Bulldog is the only character in Tom and Jerry in New York who has referred to Armand by name, doing so in Horticulture Clash.
In Room Service Robots, Armand is shown to be enjoying vegan cuisine. This may imply that Armand is vegan.
