August Critchley is the main antagonist in Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up. He is voiced by Chris Edgerly.
Bio[]
Critchley is a wanted criminal and a greedy land-grabber who wants to get ahold of the land owned by Betty and Bentley's grandfather and claim the land for himself. He also has a henchman named Clem and a horse named Dabio.
Appearance[]
Critchley is a tall, lean man with ivory colored skin, black hair, and a black mustache. He wears a dark blue hat, a dark blue coat with sea foam green sleeve cuffs, a sea foam green collared shirt, a bandana in a darker shade of green, a purple vest, blue pants, and navy blue shoes.
Trivia[]
- He and Bumpy are the only characters in the movie who don't speak with Southern or American accents. In this case, Critchley speaks with a British accent.
- Critchley is very similar to Alameda Slim from the 2004 Disney film Home on the Range, as they are both greedy land-grabbers who seek to own the part of land where the main characters live.
- His voice and personality are also similar to Hedley Lamarr from the 1974 film Blazing Saddles.
