The Brown Dog is a minor one-time character appearing The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show episode "Star-crossed Wolf".

The dog was used to make Slick look like a guard with his guard dog in order to get inside the studio until Droopy lures the dog into chasing a cat foiling Slick's plan.

Trivia

• The dog was briefly owner is Slick Wolf.
• This is ownership is similar to the museum guard and his dog Bruno from The Tom and Jerry Show (2014) episode Fight in the Museum.
• Unlike Droopy, Spike and about all of the other dog characters in the "Droopy" segment on The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show, this dog is non-anthropomorphic.
