Tom & Jerry Candy Sticks - Thornycroft Ltd. 1994
About[]
Once upon a time candy cigarettes were all the rage. But many found the idea of enticing kids to smoke cigarettes distasteful so the things were banned around the world. Except the US. Before the US ban could happen, US confectioners changed the name to Candy Sticks, and instead of cigarette looking packs, they put cartoon characters on the boxes. Boxes can be found featuring Warner Bros IP (Tom & Jerry, DC Superheroes, Scooby-Doo, The Flintstones) as well as Spider-Man and Popeye.
Tom and Jerry Boxes[]
The Tom & Jerry Boxes in the 1994 series of Candy Sticks feature a full color image, often sports or other icon things, on the front, with a 3D Cutout on the back. A b&w image with red and blue lines to theoretically give it a 3D look when viewed with 3D glasses.
World Confections[]
World Confections is the candy company with the current license for Warner Bros characters Candy Sticks.
