- This is Quacker's first and only appearance in the series.
- The episode plot is similar to the short "Is there a Doctor in the Mouse" in which Jerry gains super speed and Tom tries various strategies to catch him.
- The fourth wall is broken when Tom crashes into the camera at the end and drags the black screen downwards, ending the episode at the same time.
