Synopsis[]
Tom tries to get the get his girlfriend Toodles from his rival Butch, awhile Jerry tries to get a beautiful coveted flower for his new caterpillar friend is inside.
Plot[]
The episode starts off with Jerry admires the great outdoors around at the park, Jerry noticed a flower blocking his sun view, then what pops out was a playful caterpillar, that wants play hide-in-seek with Jerry, it hides in the high grass, with a confused Jerry the caterpillar surprises from him, after finding the caterpillar, the larva had to find Jerry then he'd mouse does, the caterpillar finds him behind the leaves, the caterpillar then hides in a beautiful flower that is restricted of picking the petals by a sign, the caterpillar gets tired and falls asleep in the flower as Jerry searches for the caterpillar, he sees that the caterpillar is asleep in the beautiful flower.
Tom shares a bench with Toodles. he tries to make a move with her, but to impress her, he will have to receive a flower, Tom finds the beautiful orchid flower and snatches it from the soil. unaware of a caterpillar inside orchid, Jerry squeals cause of him noticing that Tom has it, the cat runs with it. Butch comes to the park to noticed Toodles presences, she then notices him as well. Jerry stops Tom with rake, hoe, and shovel then unconscious in a wheel barrel and buried by dirt by a person, this flower Tom still holding gets Butch's attention and steals it to giving to Toodles, as Jerry sees that they have the flower. Impressed Toodles walks with Butch to a carriage, as Jerry tries to show Tom that Butch is out with his girl. They both go to a carriage together, Tom steals a unicycle from a nearby person riding it, Tom catches up to them until he and Jerry go inside the tunnels around the place, there swapped from a unicycle to a skateboard with the same owner of the unicycle, as they get into a skateboard and go through under cars to up a construction truck to a sensation truck, as they get of there, they find Butch and Toodles just arriving at the library as they both walk in, Tom alongside Jerry go inside, as Tom is shushed a librarian, the duo then sprint until they collide into a obsess man's stomach, afterwards the duo proceeded to look for Toodles and Butch until they do. Awhile Tom looks at his rival, Butch and his crush, Toodles as for Jerry he looks at the flower that the caterpillar is sleeping in, Jerry jump on the spinning globe, awhile he is there Butch spins the globe that Jerry spins around it, Tom takes a ride on the rolling book cart, when he was thinking of intervening with Butch and Toodles' date, he is squeeze into a book where the man picks the book that is Tom, he jumps in shock, to land into on the globe with Jerry to be launched a crossed the library to the exit door. Butch and Toodles then leave the library, before that Butch rubs his foot on his rival like a mat, as they proceed.
Butch and Toodles go to the museum, with Tom and Jerry rushing inside. As there inside, Tom sees Toodles rubs Butch's chin with a the converted flower and is eagered to stop them before there relationship builds up, Tom then charges on four legs, but misses by overshoot him as they crouch for the flower that they dropped. Tom clashes into one of the fossil exhibits that collapses, Butch gives the flower back to Toodles, but she flees from collasplation, Butch is unaware is a crushed into the fossil. Tom steals back to flower from his rival and heads to Toodles to give the flower to her, before he does Jerry then lands on it, Tom holds Jerry in the tail then Jerry points at the flower that the flower is occupied. A shiny glow comes out inside, the caterpillar comes out and has became a butterfly, Jerry well as Tom and Toodles changes to delighted, there eyes are looking upon the elegant beauty of the butterfly flying around them as the happy butterfly, as the caterpillar shows its playful personality, before it flies in the sunset, Toodles gives Tom a kisses on the cheek, as Jerry cries seeing the butterfly flying off, Jerry sheds a tear for his butterfly friend departure. Tom gives the covereted flower to Toodles' as he won her affections.
