"Circus Antics" is the fourteenth episode and the first episode of second season of Tom & Jerry Kids written by Sandy Fries.
Premise[]
Jerry spends time at the circus and gets the help of an elephant in order to escape from Tom.
Synopsis[]
As the Season 2 Premiere begins, It's a day at the circus and Jerry is at the "Hit the Duck" stand hiding behind a target duck and eating a candy cane. Tom is there who turns the game on and begins to through baseballs at a surprised Jerry. Tom manages to hit the target that Jerry is on, but it doesn't deter Jerry who grabs a candy cane to use as a baseball bat to return on of Tom's throws. Tom recovers and starts to chase Jerry who runs passed an elephant. Tundo jumps in fright and then lands on Tom. Tom is infuriated by being landed on that he ties the elephant's trunk in a knot. Jerry sees this and goes back to help the elephant. According to Tundo, elephants are usually afraid of mice, but Jerry isn't so bad. Since Jerry was so nice, the Elephant promises to protect Jerry from Tom's bullying and gives Jerry an Elephant Alert Whistle that is been a secret of Tundo family for generations. We next see Jerry eating popcorn at a popcorn stand and Tom grabs Jerry and tosses him into the popper. Jerry pops out and runs from the pursuing cat. They race through the big top and end up climbing the ladder to this giant slide which they slide down and end up under the elephant who is standing at the end of the slide. Jerry blows his whistle, which startles the elephant who then sits and flattens Tom. Tom recovers and chases Jerry up the ladder to the high dive. They both dive off and land in a small barrel of water. Jerry, again, whistles for help and we see Tundo in swim gear dive off the high dive and then belly flops onto Tom. Jerry is casually walking through the tent where Tom puts a plank in front of the mouse. As Tom is about to pounce, Jerry threatens to blow the whistle. Tom backs away and we see that Tom is on a seesaw and knocks the whistle from Jerry. Tom runs to catch the flying whistle, but ends up catching it in his mouth and swallow it. This cause Tom to start hiccupping and whistling at the same time which gets the attention of the elephant...now on the high wire. A now flattened Tom runs from underneath Tundo to hide under a bucket. Jerry arrives with a boom box with a recording playing on how to get rid of hiccups. The instructions allow for Jerry to begin exacting revenge on Tom. We start with the "drinking water" to get rid of hiccups and Jerry puts a fire hose into Tom's mouth. When that doesn't work Tundo appears and squashes Tom again. Tom has had enough and runs toward the ocean and then swims across to a remote, desert isle. Tom hiccups and whistles again and out from a palm tree the elephant comes and lands on Tom again causing the whistle to pop out. The elephant recognizes the whistle as Jerry's and goes off to return it. Back at the circus, Jerry is dressed up as a clown and Tom is walking passed a tent dejected until he sees a note, left by Tundo to Jerry. Tundo is off to visit his family and now Tom is taking advantage of the elephantine absence. Tom shreds the note, Jerry walks out the tent until Tom catches Jerry who blows his whistle a couple of times to no affect, Tom even gets in on the whistle blowing. However, a shadow looms and down comes several pachyderms on top of Tom. Tundo then introduces Jerry to his family, Cousin Tumbo, Cousin Trumbo, Cousin Bumbo. Tundo realise where the Tom Cat That he bothers. Jerry point at flattened Tom at Tundo Backside. Then Tundo take flattened Tom from his backside. Then Tom runs aways. Jerry hops onto the Tundo Trunk and Jerry and the Tundo become friends.
