(The episode begins with spring music playing in the background.)
Jerry: *Smacks lips* (Jerry's stomach is rumbling. The music changes into a seren tune, when Jerry receives a peanut from the vendor.)
Pigeons: *Cooing*
(One female pigeon with a strap tied to her leg is thrown from the line. She attempts to grab a popcorn ball, but a male pigeon in a yellow cap takes it away while omnious music is heard in the background. He hits her with a beak and walks away. The music changes and the female pigeon starts crying. Jerry approaches her and offers half of the peanut. The she-pigeon cannot reach it, for a yo-yo string limits her movement.)
She-Pigeon: I'm too clumsy to fly. I never get any of the handouts. (Jerry removes the string from pigeon's leg.) Thanks, buddy.
(Jerry discards the yo-yo, hitting Tom.)
Tom: YEOW! (Tom emerges from a waste basket with a large bump on his head. He spots potential meals and snatches them with a yo-yo. Jazzy music plays as Tom is playing with the yo-yo while grabbing Jerry and the she-pigeon. Music changes to silly tune, when Tom accidentally breaks his teeth and loses grip. The tune changes during chase and when the pigeon falls to the pond.)
Jerry: *Screams* (Jerry causes Tom to bite his own tongue.)
Tom: *Screams in pain*
(While Jerry is looking for means to save his pigeon friend, Tom grabs a baby swan from the pond. Jerry saves the pigeon and Tom stumbles on baby swan's parents.)
Tom: *Screams in fear* (Tom hands over the baby swan to its father) *Giggles* (Tom kisses the baby swan. Its mother takes it, while its father grabs Tom and drags him out of the scene.)
Tom: *Screams in pain*
(Jerry and she-pigeon have to run from Tom. Music changes, when the she-pigeon is getting dry and Tom initially thinks it is raining.)
Tom: *Giggles* (An omnious music is heard, when Tom climbs to Jerry and the she-pigeon. The rope does not stand the blade it was hung on, thus Tom falls down and crashes.)
(In the next scene, Jerry is teaching his pigeon companion, how to fly. Music changes, when the she-pigeon with Jerry on her back crashes into other pigeons in the park. When Jerry and she-pigeon show they want food, Tom in disguise grabs them. A burglar nabs his bag with his loot.)
Tom: *Screams like Jerry*
(A mounted female police officer grabs Tom and rushes after the burglar. Cavalry music is heard in the background. The burglar releases Jerry and the-she pigeon only to stumble upon those, who chase him. Tom notices his loot is gone. He spots Jerry and the pigeon, who run away. He goes after them, leaving humans. Trumpet plays in a background while the she-pigeon finally takes off with Jerry on her back.)
She-Pigeon: Oh... Whoa! I'm doing it! I'm flying! I'm really flying!
(Jerry and she-pigeon travel above trees and between buildings. They land on a swan-shaped boat cruising through the pond. Tom attempts to grab another swan-boat, but he takes the male swan, who beated him up previously. He plucked a feather from the bird.)
Tom: *Screams in fear* (Crashes are heard in the background, as Jerry and she-pigeon are watching the fight. Tom is running from the swan and the episode ends.)
