Doctor Doublevay is the main antagonist of Tom and Jerry: Snowman's Land. He is voiced by Stephen Stanton. He is the business rival of Mrs. LePage and a greedy toy inventor who owns a store called "Doctor Doublevay's Emporium". He is also the owner of Tom.
Physical appearance[]
Doctor Doublevay is a man of stocky build with light skin, black hair and eyebrows, a gray mustache and goatee, and a clean-shaven face. He wears a fog gray shirt, a dark gray coat and pants, a black belt with a gray rectangular buckle, and black shoes.
Trivia[]
- His surname is a play on the term "doubleday".
- As mentioned by Doublevay himself, his first name is Doctor. He also claims that the reason for this is because his parents had high expectations for him.
- When he starts planning revenge on Larry the Snow Mouse, Tuffy, and Jerry, Doublevay refers to himself as Doctor Lawyer Oil Tycoon Doublevay. Although this is not known for certain, this could possibly be his full name, or perhaps just a nickname.
- He is inspired by many greedy toy store CEO-type characters from various Christmas movies and specials, such as B.Z. from Santa Claus: The Movie, Mr. Grimm from How the Toys Saved Christmas, Sylvester Smirch from Beethoven's Christmas Adventure, and even Wally P. Nezzer from the VeggieTales episode, The Toy That Saved Christmas.
