Of Feline Bondage is a Tom and Jerry 1965 cartoon directed and produced by Chuck Jones. In this cartoon, Jerry gains an invisible-powered potion by his fairy godmother to get revenge on Tom.

Plot[]

The cartoon starts with Jerry running through a pool hall. He runs into a can that Tom holds out. Tom begins shaking the can and laughs evilly, then he tips Jerry out against the wall making him cubed-shaped. Jerry is then running along near one of the pool tables and runs up a pool cue placed by Tom and onto a cue ball on one of the tables. Tom breaks by shooting the cue ball into the rack and Jerry gets bopped on the head by the cue ball. Then, the 8-ball lands right next to the mouse and it follows Jerry off the table and into his hole, where it squishes Jerry flat. Jerry shrugs in misery until his Fairy Godmouse (voiced by June Foray) visits him and returns him to normal. Jerry acts out the situation with Tom and she gives Jerry a bottle containing a mysterious potion. She explains its effects to him (albeit through inaudible whispers), and they both exchange sinister grins. Jerry thanks her and pokes his head out his hole, where he sees cheese attached to a fishing pole Tom is holding. Jerry drinks the potion, which turns him invisible. He takes the cheese and gets Tom to twist his face in wonder. Jerry swipes the fishing line, using it to pull Tom's nose and ears backwards. He then ties Tom's tail in a knot and leaves only to return with a pair of scissors. Seeing the scissors snipping in his direction, Tom screams in terror, panics and runs up the stairs at the speed of a race car, the scissors barely missing his tail.

Tom then hides behind a trunk, panting hard. He then pokes his head out, only to get his whiskers cut off, screaming again in the process. Jerry then makes his way above him with the scissors and shaves Tom's scalp. Tom screams a third time and flees down the stairs at even greater speed and hides in a vase with his tail sticking out. Jerry then clips his tail, giving it a fir tree pattern. He then jumps into the vase with the scissors and causes it to bounce repeatedly with hairs flying out. The vase finally breaks to reveal Tom's new look - Tom (scowling) now looks like he is wearing gray shorts and a white tank top as well as having his arms and legs shaved. Jerry laughs, holding the scissors, but the potion wears off and he becomes visible again. Tom flashes a sinister grin, then holds out a mirror and Jerry slowly stops laughing. Then Tom grabs Jerry and the scissors, and gives Jerry a taste of his own medicine by cutting his fur, making it look like a bikini and pigtails. Tom begins laughing hysterically at his handiwork, and after looking in the mirror, Jerry starts laughing too. Then, Jerry flashes a seductive look at Tom, which only causes them to start laughing harder. The cartoon ends with the two rolling on the floor, continuing to laugh hysterically.
