Filmation Associates was a company that produced animation and live-action programming for television. The company was established in 1962.
Filmation co-produced The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show with MGM Television. The show featured characters from other MGM cartoons.
Filmation was acquired by TelePrompTer Corporation in 1969 and sold to Westinghouse Broadcasting in 1982. Filmation closed in 1989 and it's properties were sold to various companies.
