Frankie Twoface is a recurring character in The Tom and Jerry Show (2014). He is a fat rat who first appears in Dirty Rat. He is voiced by Stephen Stanton. He is Butch's enemy/rival and sometimes friend.

Bio

Frankie lives around the alleys. He is Butch's rival/enemy. Their rivalry is similar to Tom and Jerry's, but he does become friends with Butch in the The Not So Ugly Duckling.

Appearance

Frankie is fat gray rat who has pink feet and paws, a black nose, a light gray snout, and a lighter gray underbelly.

Personality

Frankie is a greedy, selfish, gluttonous rat who likes a lot of food. Frankie is also very manipulative, meaning he is very good at tricking others into believing what he says. Even Spike is quick to believe Frankie’s lies. However, Frankie can also be cowardly, especially whenever his true intentions are found out.

In Tom and Jerry in New York, Frankie has the behavior of a gang leader, acting mean-spirited towards others and believing himself (and any fellow rat) to be superior. He is also willing to cheat during a contest.

Trivia

• The credits for most of the episodes he appears in label him as "Frankie Twoface," thus revealing that he has a last name. However, this was never mentioned or acknowledged in any of his appearances.
  • Still, his surname could be a likely reference to the DC Comics supervillain Two-Face.
• Frankie is one of the many characters from The Tom and Jerry Show to appear in Tom and Jerry in New York, the others being Red Herring, Rutger, Rolf, and Rudy, Dollface, Edna, and Ace and Rocco.
• His voice may be based off the late Dom DeLuise.
• There are other characters in pieces of animated media that share Frankie's name, including the shark from the 2004 DreamWorks film, Shark Tale, Richard Watterson's father from the Cartoon Network series, The Amazing World of Gumball, the bulldog from the 2017 film, The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature, and the diesel engine from the Thomas & Friends movie, Journey Beyond Sodor, although the latter of these is female.
