Gatekeeper Cooper (originally called The Gatekeeper Conductor) is a minor character who only appears in the Tom and Jerry cartoon, "Heavenly Puss".
Physical appearance[]
Gatekeeper Cooper resembles Tom, but with white coloring, thick eyebrows, and darker shade of gray eyelids with blue eyes and glasses. He dons a conductor-like uniform and cap. He is more often than not depicted looking through his record book, in keeping with his conductor theme.
Biography[]
The Gatekeeper Conductor lives in Heaven at the train station and when cats die, they will be sent there for him to check if their life records include any good or bad deeds towards other animals before allowing them through the gate to the platform to board the Heavenly Express. If any bad deeds towards other animals are found, he will tell them to get the victim's signature on a certificate of forgiveness or be banished to Satan in Hell as punishment.
