Hi, Robot is the seventeenth episode of Tom and Jerry Tales. It is directed by Neal Sternecky, written by Matt Wayne and storyboard by Dave Bennett. The title is a play on the 1939 short story by Eando Binder, I, Robot and the 2004 film starring Will Smith of the same name.
Synopsis[]
Tom and Jerry live in the house of a young boy (presumably Mrs. Two Shoes' son or nephew). After destroying the young boy's robotic mouse toy, Tom makes a robotic girl mouse in order to catch Jerry, hoping to lure the mouse out of his hole and into his stomach. However, Tom doesn't realize the side effect: Jerry was falling in love with her.

Trivia[]
- This episode's plot was similar to New Mouse in the House.
- This was the first time that Tom and Jerry Tales reuses a plot from The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show.
- This is the fourth time Tom used a mechanical female mouse to lure Jerry. The first three were in Mouse Trouble, The Mouse from H.U.N.G.E.R. and New Mouse in the House.
- However, this one is sentient, in that Tom had modified the robotic mouse toy all too well that it somehow started to develop a personality of its own and have real feelings for Jerry that Tom couldn't control, and who eventually rebels against Tom.
- Jerry making himself look like Tom to warn another character about him (and the latter not responding the way the former expected) was seen in The Flying Cat.
- The title parodied I, Robot, which it based on a short story by Eando Binder in 1939, which it made into an episode of The Outer Limits and eventually remade for the 1995-2002 revival series.
- Also, there's a sci-fi movie starring Will Smith of the same name distributed by 20th Century Studios in 2004.
