"Jackhammered Cat" is the thirty-third episode of Tom and Jerry Tales. It is directed by Douglas McCarthy, written by Earl Kress and storyboarded by Norma Rivera Klingler.
Synopsis[]
Tom and Jerry stumble into a feast guarded by Spike at a construction site, where neither the former two are invited. It is up to Spike to thwart their unending hunger drive.
Plot[]
Tom is chasing Jerry into a construction site all while Tom attempts to avoid Spike at the construction area. The two eventually compete over a workman's lunch.
One day in the city Tom and Jerry were doing their typical chasing each other around he runs into some trash cans, around the pole until Jerry tripped Tom and Tom crashes into the fire hydrant which his mouth get stuck into the fire hydrant so Jerry turn on the fire hydrant with wrench until Tom drinks the water so Jerry jumps off the wrench but the dog smells the fire hydrant and dog is about to pee onto the fire hydrant until Tom spits out the water onto the dog but Tom stomach is rumbling. Then Tom smelled some yummy food it's scent is wafting towards a hypnotized Tom, it was coming from the local construction site until Tom got his nose stuck into the hole so he pull himself out until he crashes into the lamppost causing it to bend. Jerry peeked through the hole until Tom goes to Jerry and he moved up the hole and Tom peeked through a hole in the fence and saw a picnic laying on a table. Tom licks his lips and he tried to grab some food, but something bites him! and causing Tom to scream. When Tom look again he saw a vicious Spike glaring back at him. Jerry jumped through the hole and rides on Spike's back. Then Tom got an idea he found some rope and tried to lasso Jerry. But Jerry tied the rope on Spike's tail and he is pulling it and Spike into the fences so he look up and see Jerry so Tom pushes Spike into the hole until Spike bites through the fence and Tom runs away so Tom tiptoes and peek through the hole and he saw Jerry eating a jelly sandwich, so Tom kicks the fence and go through the fence and he picks up Jerry and Jerry vomits to Tom's face and Tom chases Jerry around the construction side so Jerry stops Tom and the construction hoist flatted him and Tom goes to the Table and sees the food until , and he wasn't happy. Next, he sneaked in and grabbed Jerry, but he escaped. Then Tom decided to get some food and hid under the table and tried to get some but was bitten yet again by Spike. Luckily, He made Him sneezed him free when Tom ticked his nose with his tail until Tom crashes into the fence so he goes up to the fence and see Spike. Then he go to the butcher shop and steal a bone in from the butcher across the street and he go back to construction side and that got rid of Spike so Spike start running until Tom show the bone to Spike until Spike see the Bone and stop running so Tom uses the bone to play 'fetch' with Spike. So Tom tosses the bone as far as he could, Spike barks playfully and rushes after the bone. Then Tom chased Jerry all over the building but Spike enjoying his bone until Tom tripped over Spike and He growl at him So Tom see the shower and grab it and he chases Jerry with a shovel but accidently hit Spike which him so Tom tries to run away until Spike grab him and hit him back and Tom rolls like a ball and into the pin dropper. Then Tom tricked him to running into pin dropper with a red coat. With Spike stuck Tom kept chasing Jerry. But during the Chase he accidently turned a jackhammer on, and it got in Tom's tail and it freed Spike. Then Tom thought this could be use advantage and chased Spike and Jerry. Jerry had an idea, he told Spike to run through the pin dropper and Tom's jackhammered tail got stuck and crushed. Before Spike could beat the daylight of Tom, the lunch bell blew and sadly the workers ate the whole picnic before ether Tom or Jerry could get any. Then Spike came up to them with pitiful face and said: "Aw, were you two just looking for lunch all this time? Well, I can arrange for you to get a bite?!" With that he tried to bite them both. Then Spike chased both of them out the construction site ending the episode.

- At one part Spike says, 'I can't help it, I'm a bulldog.' He then starts behaving like a bull at a matador, making a pun of his breed.
