Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is an American multinational fast food restaurant chain that specialized in fried chicken. Founded by Colonel Harland David Sanders in North Corbin, Kentucky on March 20, 1930 as Sanders Court & Café. The first "Kentucky Fried Chicken" franchise opened in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1952. KFC is currently the second-largest restaurant chain (as measured by sales) in the world after McDonald's. KFC is a subsidiary of Yum! Brand that owns Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and The Habit Burger Grill.
Tom and Jerry toys were released in the kids meal of KFC Malaysia in 1999 and KFC Europe in 2000.
