Plot[]
Hunter P.T. Pompbottom is going through is menagerie of wild animals telling Tom tales of all the big game that he has captured. However, the one big game that has eluded Pompbottom, is Wild Mouse. Tom, fearing what will come next, tries to run, but Pompbottom insists on going to Mouse-Skull Island, Wild Mouse's domain. Pompbottom and Tom arrive on the island and the first think the hunter does is insult Wild Mouse's intelligence. Wild Mouse roars and Tom tries to leave the island, but Pompbottom retrieves Tom and sets up camp quickly. Pompbottom then sends Tom to go hunt for Wild Mouse while he stays to guard the camp. Tom still tries to run away, but reluctantly heads into the dark jungle
Walking through the jungle Tom meets up with Wild Mouse who swung onto his backpack and is eating his food, and His pith helmet. Wild Mouse then throws Tom back to his camp. Hunter Pompbottom gives Tom a Bolivian bolas to use in capturing Wild Mouse. Tom misses Wild Mouse with the bolas but ends up angering an ape in the process. Tom next sets up the hair-trigger Belgian waffle trap, but Wild Mouse is just too fast for the trap. Tom chases after the mouse, but is himself thrown into the trap. Next up the bungee jump snatch. Tom sets up a cake bait at the bottom of a gorge and uses a bungee to try to snatch up the mouse. However, Wild Mouse is too fast and brings the ape with a tennis racket to use on Tom.
Finally, Tom decides to use the last resort, the unbeatable, Ecuadorian, steel mallet mash, tenderizing, curiosity mouse trap, to finally catch Wild Mouse which Pompbottom takes credit. Back in civilization, Pompbottom is displaying a chained-up Wild Mouse to a crowd of enthusiastic people. After the show, Tom tries to get his portion of the reward but gets stiffed by Pompbottom and kicked out of the exhibit hall, much to the Kitten's disdain.
At Night, After Pompbottom locks Wild Mouse in a cage for a World tour, Tom sneaks to the cage where Wild Mouse is and helps Him escape. Later, at an Airport Tom shakes Wild Mouse's paw as Wild Mouse goes in a plane's baggage room and returns home as He waves goodbye to Tom.
