- This has a similar plot to Kitty Hawked because both plots were about the Wright brothers trying to make a plane fly.
- This plot was later reused in the Tom and Jerry Tales episode "Kitty Hawked".
- When Tom and Jerry laugh at each other being taken by the Wright brothers to test their flight, their laughing animations were reused from Heavy Booking
