MGM (sometimes known as "Droopy and Friends" or "MGM Favorites" on certain international regions) was a programming block created by Cartoon Network in the early-1990s, featuring cartoons from the MGM cartoon studio. This series is a collection of classic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoons from 1934 to 1958. These shorts were originally on Cartoon Network as part of the programming blocks ACME Hour and Down Wit' Droopy D, but MGM was the first original series to air on Boomerang, from 2003 to June 1, 2014.[1]
It does not show Tom and Jerry or Spike and Tyke shorts from MGM, as those are shown on the Tom and Jerry block (though the Spike and Tyke shorts were shown on many international feeds of the block on Cartoon Network and Boomerang, as well as the Latin American channel Tooncast).
