Matterhorn Droopy is the fifth episode of The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show written by Charlie Howell. It was aired on September 13, 1980.
Synopsis[]
Droopy wants to be a rescue dog. Pretending to own the rescue dog school, Slick Wolf takes his money and tries to do him in without any success.
Plot[]
On a snowy day, a St. Bernard Dog pulls a man out of the snow, then drinks from his barrel. Slick Wolf looks inside the trash can, then goes to Droopy and asks him for a dime. Droopy gives him one, only for Slick Wolf to toss it away. Then Droopy ask Slick Wolf want to works as rescue dog until Slick Wolf takes the money from him and he puts his money in his pocket.
Slick Wolf uses the binoculars to look at the baby goat on top of the mountain and he ask Droopy to rescue the baby goat on top of the mountain and bring it back. Droopy goes up to the mountain and rescue the baby goat and he ask Slick Wolf what next. Slick Wolf Takes the baby goat from him until the mother goat appears and Slick Wolf put the baby goat down and the goats walk away and he waves goodbye to the goats.
Slick Wolf teach Droopy how to catch many fishes. Then he take out his saw while Droopy sit in the chair and go fishing to catches some fishes so Slick Wolf sawing a hole around Droopy's fishing, but he ends up causing the entire ice to collapse (sans Droopy's fishing, which is being held in place on the sea). Droopy caught Slick Wolf causing him to sneeze.
Slick Wolf teach Droopy how to play a little game to see how well you can find people who can be lost while he use the binoculars to look up the mountain and he ask him to hide your eyes, count to ten and go over there and find Slick Wolf. Then Droopy covers his eyes and count to ten until Slick Wolf hides inside the bushes causing him to sneeze until mother goat appears but she is very angry at him. Droopy finished counting to ten until Slick Wolf falls down to the snow but Droopy tags him but Slick Wolf sneezed causing the snow falls onto him.

- This is the second time where Tom and Jerry are absent in an episode of The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show.
- This is the first episode to depict Slick as a antagonist to Droopy, unlike in "Droopy's Restless Night".
