Mike Bulldog is Spike's older twin brother that appears in The Tom and Jerry Show (2014)'s episode Oh, Brother. Mike is rather a feral dog than a domestic dog, as he lives in the junkyard and does see life as a domestic dog to be boring and unamusing.
Appearance[]
He is Spike's older twin brother, he is a grey, bluish bulldog and wears a blue, spiked dog collar.
Appearances[]
The Tom and Jerry Show (2014)[]
Personality[]
Mike acts like his little brother, as he is tough and strong, as they have around the same strength, except he is rough to others and doesn't tend to play fair. Mike can be seen rough as he beat up Tom, Jerry, and Tuffy without being provoked, unlike his brother Spike, who wouldn't beat them up unless he's having trouble with them. He would later be fair and thankful to Spike, Tom, Jerry, and Tuffy after collecting bones for him.
History[]
Mike, Spike’s big brother, visits him and quickly turns out to be as embarrassing as he is invasive. From then on, Spike, Tom, Jerry, and Tuffy gang up to get rid of the inconvenience.
But when he has bigger problems with his unfriendly landlord being a White Terrier dog and his two henchmen come around and threaten to bring harm if he doesn't have at least fifty bones, Mike insists on Spike helping him find bones for him. Spike and the gang help find bones around the area. After the payoff, Mike becomes thankful for his brother Spike, Tom, Jerry, and Tuffy.
Trivia[]
- His mother Grandma Bulldog had made an appearance in the Tom and Jerry Kids episode "Hoodwinked Cat".
- Mike has grey fur, similar to how his twin brother Spike himself was colored in most of his appearances such as the 1940s theatrical cartoons, Tom and Jerry Kids, Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry, Tom and Jerry: Shiver Me Whiskers, Tom and Jerry Tales, and in the 2021 live-action film, although unlike his twin brother Spike, Mike has a darker shade of grey in his fur, though still lighter in color than Tom's grey fur.
- He was originally going to be a puppy and Tyke's brother who also hates Tom. He was supposed to have appeared in ''My Second Pup is Born'', but for unknown reasons, the episode and the idea were both scrapped.
