Tom, Jerry, Spike, invited mouse and alley cats have a house party, but things turn messy. Can they clean up the mess before Rick and Ginger come home?
Plot[]
The episode begins with Rick and Ginger telling Tom to take care of the house when they are outside. Tom does as he is told until Jerry learns the news and invites his mice fellows for a party, like his cousin Muscles, his ward Tuffy and the Duck Friend Quacker, after putting a sound blocking headphones on Tom.
The rodent guests are enjoying the event. Jerry arranges a big feast - everyone eats it up, therefore Jerry eats a remaining olive. The party goes so grand that it disturbs Tom. The cat wakes up and attempts to stop the grand party - first by breaking the circuit connected to the music system, but this attempt fails. Tom goes outside, while Spike opens the door. Spike asks Tom about the grand party going on inside. Tom shakes his head. Spike asks Tom why wasn't he invited. Tom thinks that Spike would chase the mice and hit them with a baseball bat. Unfortunately for Tom, Spike joins in the party and is having fun with the mice.
Tom develops his own cunning plan - to make a grand cake with explosive candles on it. He prepares the cake inside the kitchen. Unbeknownst to him, Toodles has also joined the party. Toodles believes it is her birthday, so she divides the cake. Tom stops her and throws the rigged cake into the trash can. Then, he prepares a cake with pink candles on it. Toodles falls in love with Tom and asks him how did he know that pink is her favourite color.
The party develops to its peak. Butch and his alley cat gang also join in the party. However, Butch and Meathead spoil the party by initiating combat with the invited mice. This incident angers Muscles Mouse, who joins the brawl. It is 7 o'clock, so Spike tells everyone to clean the house. Everyone repairs the damages, so the house is restored to perfect condition. The guests leave the house with the trash bags. Butch tells Tom about a cake was dropped into their trash bin, so keeps the cake. Tom notices that it and reminds himself that it is the rigged cake. He does his bets to extinguish the candles but he fails. The explosive candles go off when Rick and Ginger enter the house. The area is messy once again. The episode ends.
In the Moroccan version, the songs and sounds are exchanged.
Notes[]
This is the only episode to feature all of the mouse characters.
This is the only episode where Winston chases mice.
A female mouse with a purple bow tie on its head is somewhat similar to Cherie Mouse; unlike Cherie, her mouth is not combative.
Despite there being a scene where cats and all mice battle each other, none of them were injured in this episode.
When Tom imagines Spike chasing the mice, Muscles is in Tom's thought bubble running away from Spike, despite the fact that Muscles beat him and Tom up in Anger Mismanagement.
Tom placing fireworks instead of candles on the cake was first shown in Mummy Dearest. The difference here is that Tom does it on purpose in this episode but in Mummy Dearest it was an accident.
Errors[]
After Muscles Mouse thrown the sofa against the cats, he is mistakenly shown standing with the group of mice although himself is standing alone while he is throwing the sofa. This could possibly be due to the ultimate chase between cats and all mice about to begin in that scene.
When all party participants are shown and they were informed by Tom that it’s 7 o’clock and it’s time to clean up the room, the bookshelf next to Toodles suddenly disappeared after the scene where only Tom and Toodles are shown.
