Meanwhile, A circus train is pulling into town and out of one of the cars falls out a cage containing an Indian Bengal Tiger, Titan the Terrible. As Spike and Tyke continue their walk, Tyke stops by a TV shop and sees a cat playing with yarn on TV and continues asking for a cat as a pet but the show is interrupted by a news bulletin concerning the escaped Titan.
Spike and Tyke head home and Spike finally puts his foot down and says to Tyke, no pets. Spike takes a nap in a hammock and tells Tyke to go play with a ball. Tyke complies but as he looks for the ball he's introduced to Titan the Terrible who is hiding in the shed. Tyke finds out that Titan isn't all that terrible and that the tiger just wants to go back home to India to see his mother. Tyke is a bit wary of the tiger, but Titan begs Tyke to help him get home and even agrees to be his pet. Tyke agrees and then goes off to get Titan some food. As Titan is devouring a ham, his eating wakes up Spike who comes to investigate the noise. Spike finds Tyke near the bushes eating and explaining that he was very hungry. Though Spike is starting to get a little suspicious of Tyke.
We next see Tyke in his room scratching the tigers back when Spike overhears the Noise, He comes in convinced that Tyke has a cat. Titan is on the floor pretending to be a rug which Spike thinks Tyke got at a garage sale. Convinced, Titan is a rug, Spike shakes the dust out of him and throws him back on the floor and then Spike start searching Tykes room for his "pet". While Spike is distracted, Tyke and Tiger run out, but Spike chases them. Titan climbs up into the fireplace where Spike flushes him out. Spike finally realizes that Tyke has a pet and freaks out that it's Titan the Terrible, until Titan explains the situation. Spike, at first, wants no part of helping the Tiger escape, but relents after Tyke convinces him. So Spike and Tyke dress up Titan the Terrible as an old woman and put him on a plane back to India, as Spike and Tyke wave Goodbye as the screen fades to black.
