Jerry gets his hands on a chunk of cheese, which also attracted a fly.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Jerry using telescope to spot the cheese, he did it, but his excitement causes him to knock over the telescope, which in turn knocks over the lamp.
To not wake up Tom, Jerry tries to catch the lamp, but it still falls anyway. He then sneaks over to the cheese, however, Tom almost wakes up, which frightens Jerry a little, but Tom goes back to sleep. Jerry then knocks over a golf thing and attempts to catch it, but he gets crushed. Tom is still asleep, but a Golf ball rolls beside him and nearly hits Tom’s bed, but Jerry stops it at the last minute. Tom suddenly opens his eyes, but Jerry makes a lullaby with his whiskers to makes Tom sleep again.
After that, Jerry climbs the counter-top to eat the wedge of cheese, but a fly gets attracted with the cheese. Jerry takes off a block of cheese, while the fly gets on the wedge and takes a bite. The mouse gets mad, and shoots the fly, but the fly reappears. Jerry shoots him again, but with the same result, he does it again and the fly kept coming. Jerry offers to share, and says (albeit in sign language) that he has the big piece, and the fly has the little piece. However, the fly wants to have the big piece, while Jerry has the little piece. Jerry doesn’t want this, however, the fly keeps pestering Jerry until he lands in the sink. Jerry then grabs a toothpick, and fights the fly ala The Two Mouseketeers. The fly gets nervous, while Jerry keeps fighting, leading to the fly grabbing a toothpick too, causing both to fight like a musketeer. Jerry then falls in the sink again, and the fly turns on the water, and off again, wetting Jerry. The fly then carried the cheese, but Jerry grabs it too and causes him to run off with the cheese. He then puts the cheese on a plate and puts a glass dome on it, but the fly starts pestering Jerry, then makes Jerry gets an idea, after the fly stops pestering him.
Jerry starts his idea, he tied the cheese into a rope, then the fly flies over to the cheese and Jerry pulls the cheese at the last second. The fly goes after the cheese where Jerry was carrying it to the pet door, but he replaces it with a rock, as the fly carried the cheese over to the window. Jerry chases into the pet door, but he fails to get in because the fly blocked the door with the books. He then runs to the front door and gets in the Mail door, but it was blocked by tape. Then he gets an idea, the fly gets on the cheese but he hears the doorbell, he answers but no one is there, but he spots Spike’s dog food and flies over to it. Jerry suddenly closes the door and locking the fly out, that makes him angry, but he spots the chimney and gets in through it,
Jerry then walks with the cheese, but he notices the fly. Jerry shoots the fly once again, he chases the fly and catches him. The fly notices him in his hand, and punches him in the eye. Jerry then grabs a fly swatter and chases the fly, the fly flies over to Tom who still asleep and goes into his mouth, he takes control of Tom’s tail and punches Jerry, and escapes through Tom’s mouth. The fly carries the cheese and notices Jerry with a roller, Jerry wack him with it but the fly gets on Jerry’s head. So Jerry wacks himself with the roller and knocks the fly out at the same time. He grabs the fly, kicks him out of the house and slams the door. The screen pans over to the fly who lands in Spike’s dog food, but then just as he is about to eat the dog food. Spike enters the scene and grabs the bowl to eat it, the fly then shrugs to the audience. The episode ends on a sudden note.
