Penguin Random House is an Anglo-American multinational conglomerate publishing company. It is the merger of the American book publishing company, Random House and the British publishing company, Penguin Books. Established on July 1, 2013. It owned by the German private multinational conglomerate corporation, Bertelsmann since 2020. Penguin Random House is one of the 'Big Five' in the English language publishers along with Simon & Schuster, Hachette, HarperCollins and Macmillan Publishers.
Penguin Random House is the current publisher of the Little Golden Books series when Western Publishing disestablished in 2001 and the publishing rights go to Random House, twelve years before its merger with Penguin Books to formed Penguin Random House.
Random House through Golden Books published three Tom and Jerry storybooks and also three coloring and activity books in 2001. The storybooks, Now Museum, Now You Don't, House Smashers and Light, Camera,YEEOOOWCH! were reprinted by Warner Bros. Global Publishing in 2012.
Penguin Random House re-published a Tom and Jerry storybook, Meet Little Quack in 2021, that was published by Golden Books back in 1953, during Little Golden Books' Western Publishing and Simon & Schuster years. Penguin Random House through Golden Books also re-published a more recent Tom and Jerry story that was originally published by Warner Bros. Global Publishing in 2017, Santa's Little Helpers in September 2021, which it has the same name of the 2014 animated direct-to-DVD Christmas special, which it's not a book adaption of that animated special.
