Pied Piper of Harlem is the forty-third episode of Tom and Jerry in New York.
Synopsis[]
A jazzy song punctuates Tom and Jerry’s waiter rivalry.
Plot[]
The episode starts with cats entering in the back alley night club with Spike being a bouncer. Awhile Tom and Jerry work as waiters as they do there doing there job they watch the show, Tom sits on the same seat with Edna one of the guest as he sees Toodles sings, Tom is titillate for Toodles' singing performance, its also gets draws Jerry's attention, there employer, Butch comes to them to see them slacking, Tom and Jerry immediate head back to work, they both race to the kitchen to serve the dishes, Jerry makes first before Tom does. Tom sees out the window that Toodles is with Jerry. Tom gets envy him, he blocks the door with his foot that prevents Jerry from getting in, Tom is amused by it, as well as the chef, Meathead finds amusing too. Spike sees the door is blocked so he punches the door that launch to out the building through the backdoor in the dumpster.
As Toodles' continues to singing, Tom is shocked to see Toodles stroking Jerry's chin as he rushes in there and takes the flute from one of the band members. Tom plays the flute to impress Toodles, the flute playing hypnotizes Jerry, the mouse walks off the table that causes the sheet of plates falling in the floor, Jerry proceeds but when the flute plays again, he then get hypnotized, confused where's he at, he sees that he is hypnotized is from the flute Tom plays, He quickly grabs quick breads in his head attached to a utensils. Tom continues playing the flute, Jerry proceeds until he sees an army of hypothesized of other mice (that look exactly just like him) that are attracted by the music, Toodles becomes annoyed, as Tom's proceeds to what is he doing, the mice go everywhere to making messes in tables, or inside of a piano. A army of mice continue going inside the night club pass Spike and Butch, eventually the hoard of mice are at kitchen where Meathead tries to put them inside a pot, but the mice walk on the switch buttons to the grill that catches on fire, is gets so serve that the building starting burning from inside, All the cat guest and musicians all ran out the building, pass Butch and Spike. Tom still oblivious of the fire, Jerry throws a piece of bread at Tom to get aware that the building is on fire, Tom shocks by the fire, when he stopped the mice regain conscious and retreat, Tom himself escapes out the building last. As everyone out, with Jerry, Toodles, Butch and Spike waiting outside seeing Tom coming out the burning building. Toodles approach Tom as he shrugs gaily, she slaps him in the face and leaves the place to a taxi with Jerry, leaving Tom shrugging.

- Edna (from The Tom and Jerry Show episode "Charm School Dropouts") makes a reappearance in this episode. Ed (from the same episode) does not appear, however, but there is a band member that resembles him.
- Catsby from The Tom and Jerry Show episode "The Great Catsby" also returned as another band member.
- This episode marks Meathead's first appearance in Tom and Jerry in New York, even though he does not speak.
- This episode is the second episode from a series to feature something related to "Pied Piper of Harlem", first one being Pied Piper Puss.
- The army of hypnotized mice all have Jerry's model.
- The mice being beaten up in the piano is similar to The Cat Concerto and Birthday Bashed.
