Rainbow Candy Shop is the second episode of Tom and Jerry Gokko. This episode, alongside the previous short, aired exclusively in Cartoon Network Japan on November 11, 2022 during the Cheese Day event.

Plot[]

The episode takes place in a candy shop called Sweet Rainbow. Tom sits on a heart shaped bean bag, holding a strawberry tanghulu and wearing heart-shaped sunglasses. Jerry and Tuffy are delighted by the shop they are in. Tuffy continuously walks towards the shop before Jerry stops him, noticing that Tom is nearby. As Tom takes selfies with his phone, the two sneak up to eat his tanghulu. When Tom checks on the photo, he is shocked to see that Jerry and Tuffy had eaten some of his strawberries.

Jerry runs away from the scene until he realized Tuffy is not with him, as Tuffy is still eating the candy. Tom approaches the little mouse and picks him up by the diaper. A large star presumably thrown by Jerry goes into Tom's mouth, transforming him into a star. Jerry catches Tuffy and carries him away from danger.

As Jerry looks at where Tom is, Tuffy wanders off and falls into a candy pit. Jerry grabs a rescue buoy with a rope at the end and throws it to Tuffy, and he swims, with Tuffy behind him, in the sea of treats. Tom intervenes this by using a fish rod that clings to the rope around Jerry's waist, effectively stopping them from going any further. An annoyed Tuffy approaches Tom using the line of the rod and jumps to bite Tom's nose. Tom screams in pain as Tuffy lands on his bottom, causing him to cry. Jerry sees this and becomes furious at Tom, as the cat turns yellow in fear. After that event, a nervous Tom feeds Tuffy sugar as Jerry happily watches. The episode closes on a happy Tuffy.
