Rick is a major character in the Cartoon Network/Teletoon series The Tom and Jerry Show. He is Spike's owner, Rosemary's son-in-law, and the husband of Ginger.
Appearance[]
Rick is short and obese. He is usually seen in a light blue shirt, dark blue long pants and brown shoes. Like his wife Ginger, his face is never seen.
Personality[]
He is picky and greedy, but he still (sometimes) cares for Ginger. Unlike Ginger, he prefers dogs over cats, while Ginger prefers cats over dogs, thus he has a rivalry with Tom, and spoils Spike with steaks. This is a reference to George and Joan. However, unlike George, he is fat as seen above, and George is healthy and skinny. He hates Tom as he is constantly saying things to him such as “that cat is not my baby” and “I’m not that cat’s daddy” in a angry tone. That said, he shows gratitude to Tom sometimes.
