Sammy Squirrel is a squirrel character from the comics and is the best friend of Wuff the Prairie Dog. Sammy appears in nearly all of the Wuff comic stories.
In some countries, the comic stories are named after both Wuff and Sammy, like in the comics published by S.A.G.E/Sagedition in France, the Wuff the Prairie Dog stories are reprinted as Flic et Floc stories. In the Nakke comics published in Finland, Wuff and Sammy are known as Manu ja Tanu.
