"Scrub-a-Dub Tom" is the thirtieth episode of Tom & Jerry Kids written by Pat Ventura.
Premise[]
A girl is readying Tom for the international pet show today, while Jerry causes chaos on Tom's cleanliness.
Synopsis[]
Tom torments Jerry in the bathtub while Tom's owner, a young blonde girl, comes in on the antics. She is very pleased that Tom has his bubble bath ready as he just found out that he will be in an International Championship Cat Show that day. Tom gets a scrub down from his own for who is to win first prize at the cat show. Tom, displeased, tries to run away from the girl, but Jerry keeps interfering and letting the girl know where Tom is. In the process of Tom running and hiding, he continually gets dirty and the girl keeps on cleaning him. At one point, Tom hides in a pillow, but sneezes and gets covered in feathers. The girl vacuums up the feathers from an annoyed Tom, but Jerry takes advantage of this situation and causes the vacuum to suck Tom up and get him even more dirty. All the while, the girl's personality switches from a sweet one to that of a green monster whenever she is angry and annoyed.
Tom eventually eludes the child by hiding in a baby carriage and pretending to be a baby, but Jerry sees this and pushes Tom out of the house right into an alley with two alley cats. They don't take a liking to the prettied up Tom and proceed to throw him into the trash and then roll him into a bunch of other trash cans. Tom sees Jerry and runs after him, but Jerry lays a trap of butter for him and Tom slides right into the open refrigerator getting him even dirtier. The girl shows up and cleans Tom up once again after he pelts an egg on his head and takes him to the cat show where to everyone's surprise, Tom wins a gold trophy. Tom is presented with the gold trophy and out pops Jerry, which Tom chases right out the Cat Show and right into a Dog Show. Jerry escapes as Tom is running away, but is soon caught by the girl who is now making Jerry her pet that she plans on dressing up every single day. Tom is watching from outside where the girl is fussing over an annoyed Jerry with glee and content that it is Jerry that is being dolled up instead, much to the pleasure of Tom.
