Sergeant Boffo is a martial arts trainer and head of Sgt. Boffo's Ferocious Feline Mouse-Bashing School (FFMBS), who appears in "I Dream of Cheezy" from the Tom & Jerry Kids Show.
Appearance and Personality
Sergeant Boffo is an anthropomorphic Manx cat with brown fur, a humanoid snout, and humanoid hands and feet. He is very tall and rotund. He wears a green military uniform which consists of a short-sleeved khaki shirt with the Commonwealth three chevron sergeant rank, a black tie, a black belt with a golden buckle, medals on his shirt, and a garrison cap. His reputation is somewhat depicted as stern and is often easily quick-tempered. He refers to his trainees as "troops" and coaches them to fight mice in a melee-style, and creates a robotic metal mouse dummy to represent a mouse they need to fight. His catchphrase is "Disguise, Surprise, Demise!". He invited Tom through the TV and was coaching him to be a tough fighter. He also scolds to Tom that he should require more practice in fighting. He later congratulated Tom who destroyed that mouse dummy. He also mentioned that he was formerly a plumber in his past years.
- His name "Boffo" means "hearty laugh".
- He looks very similar to the Tasmanian Devil from Looney Tunes.
- According to the design of his uniform, he is wearing a rank insignia of a British Army sergeant.
