Sergeant Boffo

Sergeant Boffo is a martial arts coach and head of Sgt. Boffo's Ferocious Feline Mouse-Bashing School (FFMBS), who appears in I Dream of Cheezy from the Tom & Jerry Kids Show.

Appearance and Personality

Sergeant Boffo is an anthropomorphic Manx cat with brown fur, a humanoid snout, and humanoid hands and feet. He is very tall and rotund. He wears a green military uniform which consists of a short-sleeved military shirt, a black tie, a black belt buckle with a golden prong, badges on his shirt, and a beret. His reputation is somewhat depicted as stern and was often easily quick-tempered. He refers to his trainees as "troops" and coaches them to fight mice in a melee-style, and creates a robotic metal mouse dummy to represent a mouse they need to fight. He invited Tom through the TV and was coaching him to be a tough fighter. He also scolds to Tom that he should require more practice in fighting. He also mentioned that he was formerly a plumber in his past years.

His name "Boffo" means "hearty laugh".
