(It is another sunny day upon New York. The scenery changes to the Central Park, the fountain area. The hot-dog vendor is selling an ice-cream cup to a customer. It turns out that Jerry was hoping to have it eaten.)
Jerry: *kneels before the vendor* (Jerry gestures that he is hungry.)
The Vendor: *looks around* (The vendor gives Jerry an ice-cream cone.)
Jerry: *salutes*
(The vendor turns around and Tom appears left to Jerry. He snatches the ice-cream from Jerry and flees with his booty. Jerry goes after Tom. He reaches an empty soda can and kicks it at Tom, who started to eat the ice-cream. Tom stumbles and loses his loot. When Tom emerges, Jerry takes over the cone and flees, eating up his ice-cream on the move. When Tom rushes after Jerry, the latter is done with the ice-cream. Jerry finds a shelter inside a blonde girl's backpack left on a bench. The backpack owner puts it on, not being aware of Jerry hiding inside. Tom leaps and hits a garbage can nearby. Jerry peeks from the backpack and waves goodbye. Tom rushes and stops the blonde girl.)
The Girl: WHAT?
Tom: *strikes a cute pose with appropriate gaze*
The Girl: Aww, good kitty! (Tom suddenly leaps on the blonde girl's backpack.) Whoa! Get off me, you crazy cat! (Tom shakes. The blonde girl performs martial arts poses.) Hi-ya! Hee-ya! Hi-ya! Hyah! (Tom flees. The blonde girl heads to the library. Tom tails her stealthily. He focuses sight on the blonde girl's backpack.)
Tom: *gulps* (The blonde girl climbs the stairs cheerfully, while Tom runs frantically.) *pants* (Tom stumbles on a tree pot. After a break, he resumes the chase. Meanwhile, the blonde girl makes it to the library door. Tom follows by exhausted.) *pants* (A woman similar in appearance to the blonde girl Tom has been tailing opens the door in front of Tom and walks out.) AAAAAAUUUUUUUUGH! (Tom dives inside the library and is hit by the closing door.)
People inside the library: *shush* (The wind caused by communal shushing strikes Tom. He hits the door. Tom rises and sneaks inside the library. After a brief stroll, he spots the blonde girl with a blue backpack, where Jerry is hiding. Tom approaches his target using people and objects as a veil. He grabs the backpack and flees inside the corridor. Tom drops a book from the shelf.) *shush*
(A gushing wind causes a book to fall on Tom's leg.)
Tom: YEEOW! (Tom covers his mouth. Jerry peeks from the backpack.)
Jerry: *thinks*
(Jerry dives inside the backpack. Tom seeks inside the backpack and finds Jerry, holding a portable game console.)
Tom: *grins wickedly*
Jerry: *points at the console*
Tom: *gestures at Jerry not to turn it on*
(Jerry turns the console on. Game effects make noise.)
Tom: AAAAAAAAAUUGH! (Tom throws Jerry away. He causes a mess in the blonde girl's backpack, when attempting to free his leg from the strap.)
Afro-American girl: *whispers at the weak librarian* I must go outside. I've been...
(The second librarian, a well-muscled man rises from the first and weak librarian's table, holding her on his head. The Afro-American girl retreats, while the elderly lady, the first librarian, being weak, slides away.)
The Librarian: *flexes muscles* *cracks his knuckles* *snorts* *with a voice like Dr. Claw* It's go time. (A banner "The librarian" appears on-screen. The strong librarian rushes to the left. At another part of the library, Tom is making a mess in the blonde girl's backpack. The strong librarian arrives.)
The Girl: That crazy cat stole my backpack!
The Librarian: *growls*
Tom: *gasps*
(Tom flees with the backpack. The strong librarian goes after him. Dramatic music is played in the background, while the strong librarian rolls past couches. He grabs Tom at his forehead, then he bring Tom in front of the blonde girl. The strong librarian forcibly takes the backpack from Tom and gently gives it to the blonde girl.)
The Girl: Thank you. (The blonde girl walks away. The strong librarian squeezes Tom's neck.)
Tom: YEOW!
The Librarian: *with raspy voice* I bet you're wondering, who... I... am.
Tom: *shrugs*
The Librarian: I'm your worst nightmare. I'm the librarian. (The strong librarian opens his jaws widely. His banner appears on-screen for the final time. After a while, the strong librarian throws Tom away from the stairs.) And stay out.
(Battered Tom slides outside. He rises and heads back in the library. Back on the top of the stairs, Tom spots an animal catcher.)
Animal Catcher: *sniffs*
(Tom spots a letter hole. He develops and idea and disappears from the screen. Books are thrown inside the library through the letter hole. Tom pushes himself concealed as a book. Once inside, he regains his normal shape, then he sneaks past people. He finds the blue backpack, snatches it, and runs between the shelves. Jerry remains inside the backpack.)
Jerry: *presses the button on the mobile phone inside the backpack* (The mobile phone bell rings aloud.)
Tom: AUUGH! (Tom throws away the mobile phone, waving his hand as if he was burned.)
Woman inside the library: *shushes*
(Tom stops yelling, but the strong librarian smiles and overhears his scream. He approaches Tom, who grabs a pack of ignited firecrackers from the backpack. Tom drops the explosive charge.)
People inside the library: *shush*
(The strong librarian is seeking for Tom using bookshelves as a cover. Meanwhile, Tom manages to grab Jerry from the backpack. Jerry grabs a horn.)
Jerry: *plays the horn at Tom*
People inside the library, off-screen: *shush* (The final gushing wind appears. Tom throws away the horn with two fingers. The musical instrument lands on the strong librarian's chest. The strong librarian is visibly enraged, so he flexes his muscles and hits Tom with the horn.)
The Librarian: *growls* I thought I threw you out, kitty.
Tom: *gulps* (Jerry bails out and grabs the backpack as mean of cover. Tom flees. The strong librarian goes after him. Tom snatches the backpack with Jerry on the run.)
The Girl: My backpack! (Tom runs at the blonde girl. She performs martial arts, which makes Tom abandon the backpack. The blonde girl catches it in the air. She opens it and spots Jerry.) ARRGH! (The blonde girl drops the backpack in fear, then she runs away.)
People inside the library, off-screen: *shush* (Jerry runs directly at Tom's paws. Tom grabs him and tries to flee by heading right at the strong librarian being enraged. The strong librarian leaps and fails to catch the animals. Tom and Jerry roll past the carts. Unfortunately, they once again head right into the strong librarian.)
The Librarian: *pants from effort* (A second before crushing, Tom leaps high on the bookshelves, still holding Jerry. He tries to jump from one shelf to another, but he causes the shelves to tremble.)
Jerry: *sweats*
The Librarian: Get down from there, cat. (Tom jumps from one shelf to another, causing them to collapse in process, like dominoes. The strong librarian takes position in front of the last shelf on Tom's path.) Right now. (The shelf collapses at the strong librarian. The strong librarian is defeated. Tom and Jerry literally slide down on a book-wave to the outdoors. When they hit the ground, one book lands on Tom's head.)
Tom: YEEOW!
Silhouettes of people in the park: *shush* (Tom kneels with disgruntled face expression.)
Jerry: Hahahahaha!
(The strong librarian has been stopped once and for all. The episode ends.)
