Squawk is Captain Kiddie's glove puppet and "first mate" (though he actually talks via ventriloquism) and a supporting antagonist in Tom and Jerry: The Movie. He frequently makes smart remarks about Captain Kiddie's failing career and small amusement park. Squawk appears to have attributes of a sentient being as he is seen eating milk and cookies and even noticed Robyn's picture on a milk carton before his own puppeteer, Captain Kiddie did.
He was voiced by the late Howard Morris.
