(It is late night in New York. Jazzy music is being played in the background when a holiday advert poster is being glued to a billboard. Autumn wind is blowing.)
Mr. Piper: Welcome to the Royal Gate Hotel. (Cold disturbs Mr. Piper.) *groans* Uhh, Where is that kid? Half an hour late on his first night. (Mr. Piper turns around.) JIMMY!
(A young man, not completely buttoned up, responds to the call by rushing. He accidentally slaps Mr. Piper.)
Jimmy: Whoops! I'm sorry! (Jimmy sets Mr. Piper's uniform.) I had a little trouble with the uniform. The sleeves are a little... Are you okay, Sergeant Peeper?
Mr. Piper: MISTER PEPPER! (Mr. Piper looks at the audience with confusion in his eyes.) I mean, Peeper! PIPER! I'm going on break - if you need me, and I hope you don't, I'll be on the roof enjoying the view. (Mr. Piper pushes Jimmy off while walking away.) And it's a cold one tonight. Make sure no stray animals get inside.
Jimmy: Whatever you say, Dr. Pupper.
Mr. Piper: PEPPER! PEEPER! Ugh! Just watch the door! (Mr. Piper slams the door in anger. Jimmy approaches the door.)
Jimmy: No animals. No, sirree. Not on my watch. (Jimmy kneels to tie a shoe lace. At the same time, Jerry runs through the door and Tom follows him.)
Jerry: AARGH! (Tom is chasing Jerry near the hotel, as Jimmy is struggling with the shoelace. Tom stomps Jerry flat at the taxi parking. A cold wind blow chills Tom. The cat rushes to the right. Short amount of time passes by and Jerry rises. Tom tries to enter to hotel. Jimmy shows Tom a "no" with his index finger, then he grabs a small booklet from his uniform jacket.)
Jimmy: *reading aloud* No unescorted animals, creatures, cattle, chattel, or flocks of foul are to enter the hotel without executive permission. (The visual focuses on Tom briefly.) In other words - goodbye, kitty.
Tom: AAARGH! (Jimmy brutally grabs Tom and tosses him away with a knavish smile on his face. Tom sits in concussion at the hotel's parking.) *shakes his head*
(Tom stares at Jimmy with disdain, then he tries to pass past the hotel doors. Jimmy remains firm and obstructs Tom's movement. Jimmy attempts to kick Tom, but Tom dodges and Jimmy lands on pavement with his spine. Tom quickly opens the hotel's door and attempts to come in. Unfortunately, Jimmy is faster and grabs Tom at his tail. Tom refuses to be dragged outside. During the combat, Jimmy rips Tom's fur.)
Jimmy: *stares at Tom's fur with amazement*
(At the hotel's parking, Tom is sitting without his fur, dressed only in red briefs. Tom rises in shame. His fur removed by Jimmy lands on Tom's face. Jerry is watching the scene with joy. A taxi cab drives by while Tom is putting hi fur back on himself. Jimmy rushes to the taxi cab and opens the car door.)
Jimmy: Welcome to the Loyal Great Motel. I mean, Royal Gate Hotel. (A man dresses in a purplish tuxedo, debuses from the taxi.) It's a... Hotel. A big one. Very nice.
(Jimmy closes the cab's door, then he rushes to the apparent hotel guest. Jerry is observing the scene. The mouse gets an idea and runs to the right. He leaps on the luggage. Tom has completed dressing himself. The cold wind keeps blowing.)
Tom: *shakes of cold*
Jerry: *Waves goodbye to Tom and blows raspberry*
(Jerry gets inside the hotel using the guest's luggage. Tom is staring at the audience with a grumpy gaze. The cat looks forwards and spots a tuxedo rack. He sneaks past it and hides under the first set to the front. Hotel attendant does not spot Tom and pushes the rack to the hotel. Tom peeks through the shirt and hides himself. Jimmy lets his work mate go past the door. Inside the hotel, Tom jumps from the tuxedo rack and uses the tuxedo as a disguise. Jimmy turns around and spots Tom through the door. Tom is walking through the hotel's corridor. After passing past a column, Jimmy is tailing Tom. Without a warning, Jimmy grabs Tom at the collar. Tom simply leaps down.)
Jimmy: The pants! If you please. (Jimmy shows Tom an open hand. Tom grabs it and they start dancing jive. Proper music is heard in the background. After three figures, Tom tosses Jimmy to the left. Jimmy is spinning and stops in a corner, holding not his tuxedo.) *shakes his head* (When Jimmy regains senses, he gets struck at his face with tuxedo pants. Jimmy takes the pants off his face and stares at the direction Tom threw tuxedo pants at him with hatred in his eyes, then he runs upwards the stairs.)
Tom: Phew! (Tom is resting at the reception desk. Jerry approaches him.)
Jerry: *imitates Tom* Hahaha!
(Tom turns on Jerry and grabs him. Shortly afterwards, Jimmy grabs Tom using a net on a stick. The deputy doorman kicks the animals through the rear door.)
Tom: *shakes his head* (having recovered, Tom takes Jerry off from the nearby wall. The cold wind keeps blowing.)
Tom and Jerry together: *shake from cold* (The animals shake their hands and plan their revenge upon Jimmy. The scenery changes to another lane.)
Tom: *applies black substance on pavement*
Jerry: *leaps from the casket and whistles* (Jerry retreats to his cover. Jimmy turns around.) *winks* (Jerry flees and Jimmy goes after him. Jerry leads Jimmy to the ambush Tom is preparing with a black substance. As Jimmy is approaching, Tom hides behind a corner. Jimmy charges in a straightforward manner right into the substance on the pavement. It turns out that Tom has covered the ground with glue, therefore Jimmy is rendered immobilized. The protagonists pass past Jimmy and move to the hotel.)
Jimmy: *struggling with a stuck leg*
Tom: *waves Jimmy goodbye* (Tom goes after Jerry inside the hotel.)
Jimmy: *leaps from his shoes* (Jimmy's feet stick to the glue. The assistant doorman watches with disgust, as his socks are also stuck. He elects to walk barefoot. Cold wind blows.) *shakes from cold*
Tom and Jerry together: *laughing* (Jerry looks at the door and runs away. Tom looks at the direction and spots angry Jimmy approaching the door.)
Tom: AUUGH! (Tom attempts to flee and almost falls on a bulldog sleeping near the reception desk.)
Jerry: Shh!
(Tom dodges the bulldog and hides inside a lady's coat. Jimmy approaches and sees Jerry hiding on the bulldog, then he spots Tom's tail protruding from the lady's coat. Jimmy attempts to pickpocket Tom from the lady.)
The lady: Huh?
Jimmy: Sorry! But see, lady, there isn't supposed to be any under-escorted animals in the lobby of the elegant hotel building we're standing inside the insides of. (Jimmy gets punched in his face.)
The lady: I beg your pardon? This is a service animal, you dunce! He has more of a right to be here than most people and his pedigree speaks for itself. (Tom sneaks deeper into the corridor.) It's impeccable. It can't be pecced!
(The elevator bell dings. Tom and Jerry run inside the elevator.)
Tom: *waves Jimmy goodbye* (Jimmy fails to catch the animals up. He climbs the stairs after the elevator.)
Jimmy: *breathes heavily* (Jimmy spots a fire extinguisher. He grabs it with trouble and approaches the elevator. The bell rings and Jimmy opens fire from the extinguisher at the opening doors.) AH-HA! Got you, you dirty freeloaders!
(Jimmy stops firing and watches in amazement at his target. He has just spilled the foam upon the lady with a bulldog, who gave him a knuckle sandwich earlier in the episode. Jimmy gets his face punched once again. The lady and her bulldog walk away, staring at Jimmy with contempt in their eyes. The elevator bell dings again and this time the animals appear.)
Tom: AUUUUGH!
(The animals flee from Jimmy, slamming doors before him. Jimmy runs using the stairs. At the roof, Mr. Piper is enjoying coffee. Jerry passes around him first, Mr. Piper spots him. Tom follows by, then Jimmy appears. The chase causes Mr. Piper to have coffee spilled on his uniform.)
Mr. Piper: OOW!
(The animals prepare to jump off the hotel's roof. They manage before Jimmy grabs them. Instead, Jimmy is grabbed by Mr. Piper.)
Mr Piper: Jimmy! What did you just do?! That was Tom - the hotel's cat. He's been keeping the mice away here for years.
Jimmy: What? Wow! Maybe he has nine... (Silly tune plays in the background.) Oh boy, I'm in trouble, aren't I?
(Jimmy and Mr. Piper look at the site, where Tom and Jerry leapt off. The animals are resting by a vacation billboard, on a sunny beach background. They put shades on and the episode ends.)
