Suitable For Framing is an episode of the third season of The Tom and Jerry Show (2014).
Synopsis[]
Life really does imitate art for Tom when a ghost artist paints a nice picture of him and the picture seems to change whenever Tom has a different thing happen to him.
Plot[]
In a stormy night, a bat wakes up from its sleep and starts to fly into a window of a haunted castle and it gets on Tom’s head who happens to be posing on the couch and he moves his arms all around to get the bat off of his head which messes up his fur and whiskers though he fixes his fur and his whiskers and continues posing for a ghost artist who is making a painting of him.
Tom takes a look at the picture and he points out that the ghost forgot to paint the small dot on his nose and the ghost paints the dot on the nose then Tom kisses the ghost and the painting and then the ghost asks for any money for the painting he painted though Tom gives him a high five and the ghost tries again and it just so happens Tom doesn’t have any money, much to the ghost’s disappointment and he tries to put a curse on Tom though he manages to duck his head before the ghost was able to put a curse on him, and it ends up hitting the painting instead and with that the ghost leaves the castle then Tom starts to walk while looking at the painting, not realizing a table with a vase is right in front of him, and he walks right to it and he trips and manages to catch the vase, though the table hits his head, and he places the vase on his head as if he was the table, then he faints, gets a bump on his head, and the vase that was on his head breaks right onto the floor.
Sooner, he regains consciousness and the bump on his head then disappears and goes onto the painting, which means the ghost has put a curse on the painting, which makes Tom invulnerable meaning that he can’t get hurt anymore. He then notices the two adorable young mice, Jerry and his ward Tuffy are caring a stack of pizza boxes, and then the greedy Tom decides to go after them to see what they’re gonna do and it just so happens that they are eating the pizza and drinking the lemonade.
Tom apparently sneaks by and then he grabs both Jerry and Tuffy, which they both spray the lemonade on his face and then he knuckles both of the mice on their heads, which makes them both dizzy and then he puts them on the candles. They both regain consciousness, and they both glare at Tom, who is eating their pizza and Tom apparently eats every single bit though he is still hungry and his belly becomes back to being skinny and it goes onto the painting Tom then notices that all the pizza is gone and he then decides to order some more pizza for him to eat then he rushes to the door and carries a stack of pizza boxes, and then he goes on and chows down on the pizza he ordered though when there was a last slice of pizza, he tries to offer it to both young mice, but then he eats it.
Then, he starts to take a nice good nap. While Tom is napping, Tuffy and Jerry grab the candlesticks they were on a while ago, Jerry whistles to him to get his attention, and then they whack Tom’s eyes with them but what they realized is that Tom’s eyes recovered instantly, so they both run and Tom chases them, they all look at the painting and Tom realizes this then he smells some smoke. He even looks down and notices that his foot is on fire, which is because Jerry put some matches on his toes and he lit them up although his foot recovers instantly, and it goes onto the painting then Tuffy whacks his other foot with a mallet. It also recovers instantly and goes onto the painting. Tom notices all the injuries he had on the painting, so he decides to punch himself on the face and his face recovers. He realizes that he’s invulnerable which means he can’t get hurt anymore.
He then continues to chase the mice he then gets his head hit with a bunch of plates then his bum and it turns out the one who was throwing those was Tuffy and while Tom was laughing, he tries to drops a bunch of kitchen material on his head first bunch of pots, then a salt can, though Tom instantly recovers then the young grey mouse runs away, and Tom starts to chase him. Then, the mice hide behind a window curtain, and Tom starts to look around which then Jerry and Tuffy then roll him up inside the window curtains, and then they push him out, the window, tumbling all the way down to the ground. All the injuries he sustained from pop-up right onto the painting.
Both Jerry and Tuffy then check to see if he is anywhere nearby not realizing that he is right behind them and they both turn around and notice Tom right behind them, which They both fall out the window, though Tom grabs them and put them back inside where he tells them to start running, and they do so they both continue chasing and then Tom grabs both of them and he goes inside the mangle and he also happens to recover and he makes the mice as a paper airplane and he flings them into another room which he then starts to continue chasing them and just as he was about to go in the room they both shut the door on him, which the bottom part of the door opens and Tom once again recovers instantly then both Jerry and Tuffy get chased by a bunch of bats.
Tom apparently grabs them and hides inside of a sarcophagus, though he gets attacked by a whole bunch of bats inside of the sarcophagus then the bats leave and the mice then start to continue running and Tom again recovers and continues to chase the mice, then Jerry pulls a lever and an ax slices Tom in half and Tom recovers again then Tuffy does the exact same thing which he pulls a lever which opens the trap door sending Tom right into a pit with a hungry lion, which apparently he gets eaten, and the lion dumps his remains out and again Tom recovers. He continues to chase the mice once again. They then head to a tank filled with piranhas. They hide behind it, which Tom then goes right inside the tank, and he gets bitten by a whole bunch of piranhas, though he recovers instantly.
Jerry and Tuffy then tiptoe to make sure that Tom doesn’t actually see them what they don’t realize is that he is right behind them then they start running again then they go inside of an alligator, which Tom apparently gets stuck, which they both shut the mouth right onto Tom’s back and again Tom recovers instantly. Then he continues to chase them, and then they both go inside of a trophy head of a lion, where the mice peek out of the trophy head of an ox, whereas Tom is in a moose trophy head and he then goes right into the one where the mice were in only to realize that the mice are in a cheetah trophy head whereas Tom is in a fox trophy head then the moose that Tom was previously in, then a hippopotamus and then a bear then they come out of a rhinoceros trophy head, which Tom grabs the horn and blows on it like a trumpet which he uses to trap Tuffy in.
Jerry realizes that Tom has got Tuffy, he grabs a pair of bellows and puts it on a porcupine mannequin and blows the quills out of it, which the spikes head onto Tom’s bum, which he loses grip of Tuffy and Jerry grabs him and runs off just in time. Then, Tom blows the spikes off of his bum, which apparently headed directly to the mice, though they managed to avoid getting poked by hiding onto a shield, Tom then grabs a sword and bangs on the shield, which got them out of their hiding spot then Jerry grabs the other sword, and then he slices him into pieces, which then, Jerry and Tuffy start to run again Tom continues to chase them only to halt where he sees a room with a sign saying “AchTung!” Tom then opens the door and what he sees is a room filled with a whole lot of fireworks and dynamite so he pulls a wheelbarrow, carrying all the explosives to the mice.
The ghost artist from earlier sees what Tom is doing, and he rushes inside and Jerry and Tuffy are soon cornered by the wheelbarrow of explosives that Tom has pushed towards them however, Tom then turns around and notices the ghost from earlier, which gives time for Jerry and Tuffy to make a quick getaway while he’s distracted, the ghost artist is sooner mad at Tom for what he has been doing to Jerry and Tuffy and he makes the painting into white, which makes Tom vulnerable again, and Tom screams in shock after noticing what the ghost has did to the painting he made. The ghost apparently smiles, and Jerry and Tuffy apparently go with him Tom realizes that the fireworks are still igniting which the room he was in sooner then goes up into the sky and explodes taking Tom with it to his death and never to be seen again. And so, the episode apparently ends with Jerry, Tuffy and the Ghost Artist watching all the fireworks exploding. See you soon.
