Summer Squashing is the 58th episode of Tom and Jerry Tales. It was directed by Tim Maltby, written by Christopher Kennan, and storyboarded by Dave Bennet.
Synopsis[]
Mrs. Two Shoes assigns Tom to keep all the pests, which includes Jerry, out of the garden, but the job gets pretty complicated for the cat as Jerry has a number of lookalikes with him (they all wear different colored bandanas).
Plot[]
Mrs. Two Shoes assigns Tom to keep all the pests, which includes Jerry, out of the garden, but the job gets pretty complicated for the cat as Jerry has a number of look-alikes with him (they all wear different coloured bandanas). Tom ends up destroying the entire garden due to the mice's antics. Mrs. Two Shoes gets mad at Tom for messing up her garden and ends up changing Tom's job of Garden Guardian to Scarecrow.

- This episode has multiple Jerrys throughout the episode.
- The crows in this episode designs are based on of Heckle and Jeckle.
- The premise is an reminiscent of The Tom and Jerry Show (1975)'s episode Double Trouble Crow, where it turn to be more than one crow, and here, it turns to be more than one Jerry, awhile they eat from a garden.
- Also unlike that episode, Tom and Jerry don’t work together unlike the formentioned episode.
- There are also multiple Jerrys on the title card of Life with Tom.
