Technicolor is a series of color motion picture processes, the first version dating to 1916, and followed by improved versions over several decades.
The original Hanna and Barbera-era Tom and Jerry cartoons (1940-58) were produced and released using Technicolor. (The 1960s entries used 'Metrocolor', MGM's implementation of Eastmancolor, instead.)
