Terrance is the former main antagonist of the 2021 film, Tom & Jerry. He is the deputy general manager of the Royal Gate Hotel and Kayla's scheming boss. He is played by Michael Peña.
Biography[]
Terrance works at the Royal Gate Hotel. When a girl named Kayla gets interviewed for a job there, Terrance at first objects but his boss, Mr. Dubros, convinces him to change his mind and hires her.
When Jerry is first noticed in the hotel at the kitchen. Terrance tasks Kayla to get rid of him. When Kayla suggests to have Tom get rid of Jerry, Terrance objects but Dubros agrees. After Terrance walks Spike, it causes a chase between Tom, Jerry and Spike which causes damage to the hotel. Terrance attempts to have Kayla and Tom fired but Dubros has him put on leave and has Kayla as his replacement.
When Terrance sees Tom and Jerry being taken by animal control, he visits them separately at the shelter feeding them lies about each other in order to get them to fight each other. He also promises Tom that he can live at the hotel. He has them both fight each other at the wedding which ruins it and exposes Kayla (who lied about her profile) and Terrance betrays Tom and kicks him out of the hotel.
When Kayla comes back to the hotel and tries to fix everything and reconciles with everyone, Terrance refuses at first but changes his mind when Kayla finds out about his crimes from Tom and Jerry. The two reconcile and the wedding is able to happen with Terrance rehiring Kayla.
