"The Ghost of Castle McLochjaw" is an episode of Tom & Jerry Kids.
Synopsis[]
On a dark and stormy night, Tom and Jerry winds up in a castle where they encounter a ghost dog.
Plot[]
In old Scotland on a dark and stormy night a man is traveling passed a castle when he hears the howl of the Beast of McLochjaw. He spurs his horse and cart on to a pub where Tom is chasing Jerry and gives the warning about the Beast. Tom and Jerry chase each other out in the storm and into the castle. Jerry runs and disturbs the dread Ghost of Castle McLochjaw. The ghost is a dog that is cursed to guard the castle these last 200 years. The ghost needs a friend to stay the night, till the clock strikes midnight, for the curse to be lifted. Jerry becomes McLochjaw's friend and protects Jerry from Tom, who is warned not mess with Jerry or the curse will befall the cat. Tom is kicked out the castle and Jerry and McLochjaw play fetch. Tom returns and joins the game only to have a pile of logs get dumped on him. As McLochjaw goes and his nightly haunting he tells Jerry to blow the bagpipe should Tom bother him again. Tom chases after Jerry in a suit of armor only to have Jerry blow the pipes and have Tom pummeled by the ghost dog. Tom recovers, not learning his lesson, and chases Jerry who again blows the bagpipes summoning the dog. Tom heads out of the castle and tries to hide on a gargoyle only to have it turn into McLochjaw. However, the clock strikes midnight freeing the ghost dog of his curse. The first thing McLochjaw does head for the golf course, but as Tom is about to attack Jerry McLochjaw howls preventing the attack.
