The Planet Dogmania is the eighty-seventh episode of Tom & Jerry Kids. The episode is the premire of the third season.
Premise[]
After Tom eats pizza without sharing it to Jerry, he has a nightmare about being sent to Planet Dogmania.
Synopsis[]
A pizza delivery truck is speeding through town delivering a pizza to Tom, who pays for the pizza but gives a high five to the driver for the tip. As Tom is admiring the pizza, it's scent is wafting towards a hypnotized Jerry. Tom sees Jerry floating toward his pizza, takes a slingshot and sends a slice towards Jerry flinging him back into his mouse hole. Tom puts an anvil in front of Jerry's door to prevent the mouse from getting at his pizza. Tom pretty much inhales the whole pizza then scurries off to bed.
As Tom is sleeping, shadows start to creep into the house towards Tom. The shadows form into three floating shadow cats that wake Tom and tells Tom that he must come with them. Tom is then put in front of a large bench where the shadow cats judge him for not being able to catch Jerry. They berate Tom as inept and a failure to cats everywhere, and that if Tom can't catch Jerry within an hour, Tom will be banished to the dreaded Planet Dogmania. We then see what happened to the last cat that was banished there. an orange cat is thrown to the planet and is summarily chased by a pack of ravenous dogs.
Tom returns to his house and attempts to catch Jerry. He caught the mouse, but sneezes after Jerry sprays on his nose with pepper. The shadow cats tell him that he has about 52 minutes to catch Jerry. In the kitchen, Jerry is sleeping in a fruit bowl. and just as Tom was about to use the eggbeater, Jerry wakes up and grabs Tom's tail to the way of the eggbeater, twisting him up in a tangled mess. In the dining room, as Jerry runs away, Tom uses a slingshot with green marbles at Jerry, but hits a few plates, shattering them. However, Tom does manage to catch Jerry, but it's too late for him. As the shadow cats call out to Tom, Tom suddenly wakes from the third toll of a grandfather clock and realizes it was all a bad dream. Tom sees that there is one slice of pizza left but refuses to eat it so that he doesn't have another nightmare. So Tom leaves the slice for Jerry at his door and knocks the door and goes back to bed as Jerry walks out the door and chewing the whole slice of pizza.
