As she arrives at the door, the destruction becomes apparent, and Spike makes a hasty exit, leaving Tom to face the consequences. When she opens the door, it falls off its hinges, prompting her to scream in terror and drop her shopping bag. In a fit of anger, she confronts Tom, questioning how he could manage to destroy the house in just an hour, and she scolds him emphatically, swinging her broom at him.
