Tom, the Babysitter is the ninety-second episode of Tom & Jerry Kids.
Premise[]
Tom's woman owner hires a babysitter to watch the baby while she is out. Tom and Jerry are given a promise not to bother the baby. However, the babysitter relies on the telephone instead of doing her job, and Tom attempts to remind her to focus more on babysitting and less time on the telephone, but she refuses to take his commands until she finds him in contact with the baby.
Synopsis[]
Inside Tom's House a Chase Occurs as Tom is chasing Jerry around the house and Jerry slides down the stair railing until Tom uses a racket to smack him like a tennis until Jerry stops him and grab the racket from Tom and hit him. mother covers the baby with the towel. So the baby grab the soap causing the soap to slip off the baby hand until the soap goes into Tom's mouth. Mother tells him to get the soap off his mouth causing Tom spits out the soap. mother put the baby in the cot and give the baby a milk bottle. Suddenly the door bell rang mother goes to the door. Tom see the baby but the baby use the bottle to hit him but mother tell him to give the bottle back to the baby so mother give the bottle back to the baby. A teenage girl is instructed to babysit the baby while his mother is out. Tom and Jerry are given a promise to not bother the baby. However, The babysitter relies on the phone than doing her actual babysitting and Tom points to her that the baby has crawled out of his crib and is crawling everywhere around the house. Then the babysitter accuses Tom for "taking the baby out of the crib", finds and catches the baby riding on the doghouse as the Mother's Dog was chasing Tom while she was still on the phone. The babysitter kicks Tom out of the house. Tom and Jerry must get the baby back in it's crib before the mother returns.

- The episode's plot is similar to Busy Buddies and Tot Watchers.
- This is Eliza's first and only appearance in the show. This is due to the fact that this was not a well-remembered episode due to Eliza being a copy of the equally neglectful Jeannie from the MGM cartoons who is hated by fans. Tom and Jerry did a much better job of watching over the baby than both babysitters. The entire concept was dropped from the series and neither characters appeared again.

Animation errors[]
- When Eliza first appears, her blouse is completely turquoise, but the sleeves and collar change to yellow for the rest of the episode.
- Eliza's lips shift style in between animations: single lined to double-lined where she looks as if she had on lipstick and vice-versa, but never wore lipstick at all.
- The number of fingers on the babysitter's hands also shift between animations: three fingers to four fingers and vice-versa.
- The shape of the baby's diaper shifts between shots: actual diapers which never have leggings to having leggings that would resemble a pair of shorts and vice-versa.
- Jerry's mouth turns white as he and Tom heard Eliza saying she didn't take her eyes off the baby the whole night.
Factual errors[]
- When Eliza dials the number to call Marcie, clearly five digits are being heard and pressed, and then she starts the conversation. However, calls are only completed if seven digits are dialed for local calls; and on the other hand, pressing 1 and then the three digit area code is required first for distant calls.
