Trivia[]

  • The box art depicts the titular cat-and-mouse-duo in their dancing poses from The Hollywood Bowl.
  • All cartoons on the set are restored, including ones to be included on the cancelled second volume of the Golden Collection series and ones from The Complete CinemaScope Collection.
  • This is the first time that Mouse Cleaning and Casanova Cat will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in North America, due to them being pulled from the third volume of the Spotlight Collection series and those cartoons being the whole reason behind the cancellation of the Golden Collection: Volume Two release.
  • The Blu-ray version will include an exclusive bonus disc and an exclusive art booklet.
    • Screenshots from a newly re-restored version of The Zoot Cat with improved colors appear on the Blu-ray's exclusive art booklet (pictured in the gallery below), and will appear alongside other shorts that were previously restored with Metrocolor prints on the Golden Collection, now re-restored with the best earliest generation elements in Warner Bros' archive.[2][3]
