Tom and Jerry Time (previously titled Tom and Jerry Junior)[1] is a 2025 animated musical educational web series based on Tom and Jerry. Initially produced for Cartoon Network's block Cartoonito and HBO Max, the series debuted on YouTube on June 7, 2025.

Summary
Classic Tom and Jerry hijinks – chasing, pranking, outsmarting each other – set an entertaining and hilarious backdrop while a core learning curriculum, based in education and essential readiness research, turns the world created by the biggest rivalry in all of animation into a fun and playful cartoon classroom.
Development
On June 4, 2020, character designer Genevieve Tsai uploaded concept art of the characters to social media.[2] The series was officially announced to be in development on February 17, 2021.[3]
On September 3, 2021, ten days before Cartoonito's launch, the show's name was changed from its working title to Tom and Jerry Time. The series was set to premiere in 2022 before being delayed to 2023.
In July 2023, showrunner Will Finn confirmed on Instagram that the series had been canceled by Warner Bros. Discovery.[4] A total of four episodes were completed before the cancellation.[5]
On June 7, 2025, a compilation of two episodes from the series was uploaded to Boomerang UK's YouTube channel.

Notes
- This series is similar to Scooby-Doo! and the Mystery Pups, as both are preschool reboots of cartoons created by Hanna-Barbera; both were shelved prior to completion. Unlike Tom and Jerry Time, no episodes of Scooby-Doo! and the Mystery Pups have been released.
- This is the first time Tom, Jerry, and Tuffy have whiskerless designs, though the artworks and the previous logo depict them with whiskers.
