Trivia[]
- The title "Triple Trouble" is probably derived from that of the MGM T&J short Triplet Trouble (1952).
- The squirrel speaks in a voice (courtesy of Leonard Weinrib) which is reminiscent of Bert Lahr, best remembered as The Cowardly Lion from The Wizard Of Oz (MGM, 1939), whose own voice inspired Daws Butler's vocal interpretations of Snagglepuss and Jonathan "Mudsy" Muddlemore of The Funky Phanton (ABC, 1971-73). (T&J voice John Stephenson povided similar vocalizations for Rex the lion in Episode #80-23, "The Hypochondriac Lion".)
- John Stephenson voices Spike again.
- Once again T&J break their silence; they say, "uh-huh!".
- Spike was given a gruff voice, and acts out of character as well in the episode.
