Jerry has a dream that Tom and Toodles have got married.
Plot[]
The episode begins with a doorbell ringing and Tom is rushing to open it while holding a flower bouquet in his hands. Toodles Galore is awaiting at the opposite side of the door and she calls Tom his diminutive name. The male cat opens the door and handles Toodles the flowers. While she grabs the bouquet, Tom presents her with a silver wedding ring with a blue gem. The female immediately falls in love with Tom, which leads to marriage.
Before the ceremony takes place, Butch and Meathead are practicing their musical instruments. They play a piece of jazz until Tuffy scolds them that they are fooling around, then they play Mendelssohn's wedding march properly. The marriage ceremony does not go smoothly, because Tom has trouble in pinning a rose to his jacket and forgets the deed words when he spots his bride. Despite the flaws, the marriage between Tom and Toodles is announced.
Later on, Tom needs a wedding gift for Toodles. In a desperate need, he gives her Jerry as her personal servant, which pleases his newly-married wife. Jerry does not enjoy his new life as Toodles' servant, though he keeps pestering Tom at every possibility available, even despite Toodles is trying to keep Jerry on a short leash.
The challenge begins, when Tom and Jerry have to look after the kittens, which turns out quite demanding. The feline offspring keep weeping, which makes both of the animals exhausted. Only the combat between the animals makes the kittens focused on watching until they get tired and fall asleep.
Shortly afterward, Toodles' parents move in, causing Jerry even greater dismay. He wakes up and realizes it was just a dream until he notices Tom running in the exact same way as the beginning of Jerry's dream. Jerry gets infuriated and prevents Toodles from being greeted. After throwing the bouquet in Toodles' face and slamming the door, Jerry drags Tom away by the tail while he looks to the audience confused of what just happened ending the episode.
