Synopsis[]
At night, a small spaceship lands in a Yard and out pops Urfo, the Space Pup. He looks up into the sky and sees that she's been followed and she promptly hides behind a tree. Just then, Jerry is pursued by Tom who corners Jerry under the shed. Tom, using a rake, gets Jerry out and captures him, only for the Rake to be zapped and floating up into a tree branch by Urfo thus rescuing Jerry. Tom is not happy about this situation and Jerry is happy with seeing his alien dog friend. But the reunion is interrupted with an alien ship landing and a menacing, robotic dog catcher emerges, which even has Tom Spooked. As the Space Urfo Catcher robot reports in to his commanders, he descends the ramp from the space ship and then crashes right into a tree. The aliens that sent him are dismayed at his clumsiness but it was the only Urfo catcher available. As the robot puts himself back together he looks up and sees Tom hanging in the tree whom he determines is Urfo. The aliens, frustrated, inform the robot that he is holding an earth cat and not Urfo, a very rare creature the last of his kind. The robot drops Tom who runs away but returns quickly when he hears about the million space buck reward for the capture of Urfo. Tom volunteers for this and is deputized by the robot. Tom is given and official helmet and whistle and so the chase begins. Every time that Tom sees Jerry and Urfo, he blows the whistle and chases them with the robot right by Tom's side. The reach the kitchen where Jerry and Urfo have a trap set for the robot involving an ironing board. The board smashes the robots head in and as Urfo Catcher flails about and crashes on the floor, Tom gets a screwdriver to pop the robots head out. The aliens watching all this comment that at least the cat has some smarts, in comparison to the Urfo Catcher.
Jerry and Urfo head to the laundry room where they "hide" in a front loading washing machine. Tom calls the robot over and they open the washing machine, but Jerry and Urfo teleport out of the machine and start the machine. The robots arms are caught and twisted as he is promptly destroyed. The aliens can't watch the result, but contact Tom to tell him to push the Construct button on the robot to put him back together. Meanwhile, Urfo and Jerry hide in a closet and make plans there. Tom and the Urfo Catcher stand outside the closet, but when the door opens Jerry and Urfo have dressed up a vacuum cleaner to look like a girl robot. Tom isn't fooled, but the robot starts flirty with the vacuum and when he wants a smooch Urfo turns on the vacuum and the Catcher is sucked into it as Jerry and Urfo walk away. Tom rescues the robot whom he then promptly kicks in the lower stomach and walks away in disgust. The aliens lament their choice in Urfo Catcher and say that they should just leave the Urfo on Earth, that is until Urfo's mother appears. Which it revealed that these aliens and their robot are really officers in the department for missing children that hired by Urfo's mother to gets Urfo and decided to get him herself after their failed attempts of getting him. She then teleports to Earth to get her child back just as Jerry gives Urfo a Pizza Slice and the Mom berates Urfo for running away from home. Urfo, Momma Urfo, and Robot head back to the spaceship and leave. They all say their goodbyes as the ship flies away, but Tom is shaking his fist, angry that he didn't get the reward. The alien ship comes back briefly to deposit the million space bucks, and as Tom is celebrating the loot, the money suddenly disappears now that it has been exposed to earth's atmosphere and the spaceship flies away as the screen fades to black.

- As the Urfo-Catcher was about to break through the door while holding Tom, his eyes are white.
- This is Urfo's final episode in the first season and in his original design. Urfo later appeared in the second season episode, The Little Thinker where he was completely redesigned with a more anthropomorphic and grown-up appearance and can speaks, which it's also his final appearance in the entire series and his only appearance without either Tom or Jerry.
- Urfo's mother physically appears in the episode, unlike in the first episode, Outer Space Rover, where she's only seen in portrait only.
- Like in Outer Space Rover, Tom would turn Urfo in for cash, but to the alien catchers, who are really more of officers for runaway children that were sent by Urfo's mother in order to get him, instead of the Earth authority. But unlike in Outer Space Rover, Tom did get his reward, but only for a few seconds when the money suddenly disappeared because of the Earth's atmosphere.
